A new pathway now connects the west end of the Plateau to Parc Central. Residents can now reach the park more easily on foot or by bike without having to take a long detour via boul. du Plateau.
This new connection marks another milestone in the development of Parc Central. The pathway also links to the new multi-use path along boul. de l'Amérique-Française, in front of École secondaire de la Cité, making active transportation throughout the neighbourhood even easier.
This project was completed by Junic Construction through an agreement with the City of Gatineau. We would like to thank Charles Beaudoin, President of Les Entreprises Divalco, for his contribution to this project.
