Every summer, the Plateau neighborhood comes alive with the rhythm of Mardis Musicaux, a series of free concerts that have been delighting residents and visitors for several years. Formerly known as Mardi Classique, these musical events have become a summer season staple in Gatineau.
The Agora, in the heart of the Plateau, transforms into a vibrant stage where talented local artists share their musical passion. These concerts, accessible to all, offer a unique opportunity to discover the artistic richness of our region in a friendly and festive atmosphere.
Whether you come with family, friends, or solo, Mardis Musicaux promise unforgettable evenings under the stars. It's the perfect occasion to enjoy the warmth of summer evenings while being lulled by enchanting melodies.

2024 Edition: A Summer of Musical Diversity
This year, Mardis Musicaux will take place from July 9 to August 13, 2024. Every Tuesday evening, from 7 PM to 8 PM, the Agora will come alive with varied performances, ranging from tributes to French chanson greats to contemporary Quebec pop-rock.
Our 2024 program includes:
- A vibrant tribute to Édith Piaf
- An evening dedicated to radio classics
- A tribute to Joe Dassin
- Performances featuring gems of the Francophone world
- A dive into Parisian songs of the Belle Époque
- An acoustic evening with Velvet Black, a Quebec pop-rock group
All concerts are free. Don't forget to bring your chairs or blankets for your comfort.
