Hot meals for children
The ARP Aid Committee has made a generous donation to the Hungry to help Foundation. The Association of Plateau Residents contributed $500 to this foundation, which provides hot meals to children in need in schools across the region. Every $5 donated provides one meal for a child. The meals are prepared by Mazzola, located at 304 Vanier Road in Aylmer.
Christmas hampers to brighten the Holidays
On Friday, December 20th, at the Plateau Community Center, volunteers from the ARP's Support Committee joined forces with those from La Base to distribute Christmas hampers. Over a hundred hampers were handed out, bringing a bit of holiday magic to many families.
A wonderful surprise this year: mechanical engineering students from the University of Ottawa joined the volunteers to lend a helping hand. Thank you to everyone for this show of solidarity!
