Blood Drive January 2023

Blood Drive January 2023

This winter, be a source of human warmth and donate blood!

Although the cold season makes you want to stay bundled up, the need for blood products does not decrease. By donating blood this winter, it becomes possible to cause a human heat wave of inestimable value.

Le Chemin Church and the ARP invite you to the blood drive to be held on Tuesday, January 10, between 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., at Le Chemin Church located at 480 Vernon Street, Gatineau. The objective of this event is to welcome 70 donors.

Héma-Québec recommends making an appointment before going to the collection. You can do this easily online: www.hema-quebec.qc.ca/trois-facons-simples.fr.html or by phone at 1-800-343-7264.

This winter, 2,000 people who have never donated blood are being sought each month. The response to this call will lead us to an optimal reserve level. This mobilization between the people who give regularly and the new people who will be added will allow Héma-Québec to pursue its mission, which is to meet the daily needs of hospital centres. Héma-Québec is counting on the generosity of thousands of people.

Before applying, it is recommended to check your eligibility for the www.hemaquebec.qc.ca, Blood Donors > section> Can I donate? If you still have questions, you can contact Customer Service Donors at 1-800-847-2525.
