The Aid Committee of the Association des résidents du Plateau (ARP) is very pleased with the results of the 4th edition of its Sharing Store, held as part of the Back to school program. This initiative helps families purchase essential school supplies at reduced prices. Thanks to this year's edition, more than 90 children from the Plateau neighbourhood will begin the school year with all the supplies they need.
This project, which has a significant social impact, is made possible through a strong network of local support:
- The volunteers of the Aid Committee, whose invaluable commitment made the organization of the activity possible.
- L'Église chrétienne du Plateau, which generously provided its facilities to host the activity.
- Centraide Outaouais, which funded 75% of the purchase of essential school supplies.
The ARP warmly thanks its partners and volunteers whose generosity and commitment help ease the financial burden on local families as they prepare for the new school year.
