The Guignolée -- The Plateau, a generous and supportive community year after year!
The holiday season is synonymous with sharing and helping others. As you know, with the difficult economic situation that persists, many families will find it hard to get by and won't have access to enough food or good-quality food to meet their basic needs.
Thanks to your generosity, the Guignolée 2022 of the Saint-Vincent de Paul of Notre-Dame de l'Eau Vive, a non-profit organization that also serves our neighborhood, distributed Christmas meal baskets to over 450 households, benefiting 1,343 people. Among them, a third were children, and a quarter came from the Plateau. The total value of this assistance was $39,000! MANY THANKS!
We're calling on your generosity again this year. Starting Saturday, November 18, 2023, volunteers from the Plateau's Catholic community will be distributing an information leaflet at your door. Every donation, no matter the amount, will make a difference and provide a moment of joy and hope for a person or family in need in our community.
How can you help?
A cash donation, with a tax receipt for a donation of $20.00 or more, can be made in 3 ways:
1) Mail your cheque or drop it off in person at Notre-Dame-de-la-Guadeloupe (NDG) church (see address below).

Food donation: Please bring non-perishable food items to the NDG church during office hours or to the bins at the church entrances during mass.
