A neighbourhood walking club is being developed in the Plateau to offer a simple, friendly, and accessible activity for everyone. The goal is to get moving regularly, discover the neighbourhood in a new way, and build connections one step at a time.
The initiative has already generated strong interest, with many residents expressing enthusiasm to take part. We are very happy to see this momentum.
However, in order to launch the club in April, we are still looking for a volunteer willing to take on the coordination role.
This role mainly involves planning walks (days, times, and routes), welcoming participants, and helping ensure a safe, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere. No special expertise is required, just a love of walking and a willingness to bring people together.
If you are interested in helping bring this project to life or would like more information, please reply to this newsletter or contact arp.activites@gmail.com.
