The Association des résidents du Plateau (ARP) is proud to once again join forces with Horticité for a new season of the Frugal Harvest, a community initiative that collects unpicked fruit from residential yards to fight food waste--while promoting local solidarity.
The concept is simple:
1/3 for the owner, 1/3 for the volunteer pickers, and 1/3 for a local organization.
This year, the harvest will support La Base, the organization managing the local food bank on the Plateau, helping families in need right here in our community.
