Get ready for magical evenings under the stars! Les Mardis musicaux are making their grand return this summer, transforming the Agora into a vibrant stage of talent.

From July 9 to August 13, every Tuesday from 7 PM to 8 PM, let yourself be carried away by an exceptional program blending tributes to French chanson greats, local discoveries, and unique performances. From Édith Piaf to Joe Dassin, through the gems of the Belle Époque and the best of Québec pop-rock, these free concerts promise to make your Tuesday evenings the highlights of your summer.

  • July 9 : "Edith Piaf, the Unknown Icon" with Steve Normandin Steve Normandin, an accomplished artist with 25 years of international career, will tell Piaf's story through songs, stories, and anecdotes. A talented accordionist, he has collaborated with big names in the Quebec music scene such as Clémence DesRochers, Isabelle Boulay, and Robert Lepage.

 

  • July 16 : "When the Radio..." by Paule Morin and Norman Kerr Pianist Paule Morin (who has accompanied Céline Dion and Cirque du Soleil) and bassist Norman Kerr (Offenbach, Corbeau) invite 6 local singers to perform their favorite francophone songs.

 

  • July 23 : Tribute to Joe Dassin by Clément Courtois Trained at the Parisian Périmony drama school, Clément Courtois will bring Joe Dassin's greatest hits back to life with his powerful and precise voice.

 

  • July 30 : Roxane Potvin in Concert Former backing vocalist for Mario Pelchat and Bruno Pelletier, Roxane Potvin was the voice of Cirque du Soleil's "O" show in Las Vegas for 17 years. Accompanied by her pianist, she will offer you the most beautiful songs of the francophone world.

 

  • August 6 : "Paris, Songs of the Belle Époque" with Steve Normandin Rediscover French songs from 1880 to 1914 that we still hum today! Steve Normandin, accompanied on piano, accordion, and by a violinist, will take you back to the atmosphere of Parisian café-concerts.

 

  • August 13 : Velvet Black Acoustic Mathieu Giroux, singer and bassist of the Quebec pop-rock group Velvet Black, accompanied by a guitarist, will perform Quebec hits and their own chart-topping compositions.

All concerts are free. Don't forget your chairs or blankets for your comfort!
