Mardis Musicaux : A grand finale!

Mardis Musicaux : A grand finale!

Get ready to close the summer in style with the last two Mardis Musicaux concerts of August!

On August 6, immerse yourself in the nostalgic atmosphere of "Paris, chansons de la belle époque (1880-1914)" with Steve Normandin. This versatile artist will surprise you with his interpretation of French ditties that we still hum today! Accompanied by piano, accordion and a talented violinist, Steve will transport you to the Parisian café-concerts of yesteryear. Drawing on his experience working with such Quebec chanson greats as Clémence DesRochers and Isabelle Boulay, Steve promises an evening rich in emotion and musical discovery.

For the grand finale on August 13, let yourself be seduced by Velvet Black. Mathieu Giroux, lead singer and bassist of this Quebec pop-rock band, will be joined by a guitarist to perform a repertoire mixing Quebec hits and chart-topping original compositions. Originally from Quebec City, now based in Gatineau, Mathieu already won over audiences at the Festival Folk et Guitares d'Aylmer last June.

These two exceptional evenings will take place at l'Agora, from 7pm to 8pm. Don't miss these last opportunities to enjoy live music under the August stars. Whether you're a fan of French chanson or Quebec pop-rock, these concerts promise to round off our summer series in style.
