Since its founding in 1994, the Plateau Residents' Association (ARP) has been a pillar of the neighborhood, evolving at the pace of its growth and committed to improving the quality of life of its residents. Throughout these years, the RPA has maintained its three fundamental objectives: to participate in the preservation and enhancement of the physical, social, cultural, and sporting environment of its residents, to serve as a communication network within the community, and to represent the opinions and interests of its members.
Job Description
We are looking for a Media Manager to join our team at ARP. This position is ideal for a proactive and organized individual with a passion for communication and social media.
Primary Responsibilities
Website Management: Create, edit, and update articles and web pages. Create new web pages if necessary.
Newsletter: Create monthly newsletters, solicit articles, coordinate the collection and selection of content, and translate articles as needed.
Social Media: Design and create posts for Facebook and Instagram. Share our partners' posts on our social media channels and share our posts on various groups. Create stories and promotional campaigns for our events.
Graphic Design: Although it is not a hiring criterion, the ability to create posters for our events as well as graphics and/or videos for our social networks, would be an asset.
Internal and external correspondence: Respond to messages from citizens via email and Messenger and interact with comments. Involve communications volunteers in various projects.
Statistics: Analyze and report monthly online visibility and growth statistics.
Participation in the Board of Directors: Participate in and/or present information at Board meetings when necessary.
Requirements and Skills Required

- Excellent time organization and ability to plan tasks effectively.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Bilingualism (French and English), with proficiency in composition and comprehension of both languages.
- Ability to work effectively independently with little supervision.
- Proactivity and initiative to propose new ideas and improvements.
- Ability to work from home.
Working Conditions
Type of Contract: Part-time (approximately 20 hours per month).
Workplace: Work from home.
