In 2021, a tragedy shook Gatineau when a father took the lives of his two young daughters before ending his own. From this tragedy came Un chalet pour elles, a documentary directed by Mme Gentille Assih, a member of our community. The film follows the journey of Élise, the mother of the two girls, and gives a voice to experts to raise awareness and create a space for dialogue around family violence.
This project is supported by the Communauté Togolaise au Canada, the collective Les amis de Noufoh, and Les Productions Colorées, who invite citizens to get involved by attending screenings, sharing the information, and contributing to the fundraising campaign on La Ruche Québec.
