Maple Sugar Festival

The Maple Sugar Festival has long been a flagship event in our neighborhood, bringing residents together to celebrate the arrival of spring with sweet Quebecois traditions. Since the founding of the Association des résidents du Plateau (ARP), this spring celebration has held a special place in the community, offering families the chance to reconnect, create memories, and savor the delightful treats of the sugar season.

After a few years of hiatus, the ARP was delighted to bring back this beloved tradition in 2024, much to the enjoyment of both young and old. This return was a great success, and we are excited to make the Maple Sugar Festival an annual event not to be missed

Edition 2025

The Maple Sugar Festival of the Plateau returns on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Parc Central (205, rue Bruxelles).

  • Hot chocolate and coffee provided by Les Moulins Lafayette ($1 each)
  • Festive music with singer Marc Bélanger
  • Pony rides ($1)
  • Face painting for children
  • Bonfire to enjoy the atmosphere

Note: Payments for activities and tastings are cash only.

Additionally, Café Cognac (located at 10, Allée de Hambourg) offers a maple taffy coupon redeemable at the Maple Sugar Festival for customers who order from their special menu in March.

After a few years of hiatus, the ARP is excited to bring back this tradition for the second year. Come celebrate the maple sugar season and share a warm moment with your neighbors!
