On Saturday, September 12, the Association des résidents du Plateau (ARP) invites you to its traditional corn roast at Parc Central (205, rue de Bruxelles), from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This year, the Plateau will once again take on a beach vibe with Playa del Plateau, a festive theme that will accompany us as we celebrate the end of summer.
Families and residents of all ages are invited to enjoy this community event, the perfect opportunity to get together with neighbours, meet new people and extend the summer spirit just a little longer.
In addition to the traditional corn and hot dogs, several activities and entertainment will be offered throughout the day:
- Salsa workshop, where you can learn a few steps and move to the rhythm of the music;
- Heritage Colombien, bringing its own energy and entertainment to the event;
- Inflatable structures for children;
- Face painting and temporary tattoos for an extra festive touch.
Corn, hot dogs and soft drinks will be available for $1 each. Cash only.
Whether you're coming for a delicious ear of corn, to enjoy the activities or simply to spend some time with people from the neighbourhood, there will be plenty to enjoy at this end-of-summer celebration.
