Summer isn't over at the Agora! The Mardis Musicaux continue in August with two artists from very different musical worlds, who both share a desire to create a genuine connection with their audience.
August 4 -- Nick Loyer
Songwriting has been at the heart of Nick Loyer's artistic journey from the very beginning. After co-founding the band Leverage for Mountains, with whom he released two EPs and performed on several stages across Canada, he now continues his musical path as a solo artist.
In 2025, he released Line in the Sand, his first album, an intimate and introspective project where folk melodies meet personal stories. On stage, Nick offers a sincere performance carried by his songs and his subtle, thoughtful musical universe.
August 11 -- Jean-François Bastien
Jean-François Bastien invites audiences to an evening centered around sharing and connection. A recognized singer-songwriter from the Montreal music scene, he first gained wider recognition through his participation in Star Académie. He stands out for his energy, charisma, and ability to create a genuine connection with the audience.
With a repertoire featuring timeless classics and popular songs, he transforms each performance into a moment where people sing along, connect, and simply enjoy the evening.
August 18 -- Comm' Un Accord | Cowboys Fringants Tribute
For this additional evening, Comm' Un Accord will pay tribute to the Cowboys Fringants with an acoustic performance.
Through their songs, the Cowboys Fringants gave a voice to human and social realities that resonated with many generations, from everyday life to environmental concerns. Come rediscover the unique and unifying world of this iconic Quebec band at the Agora.
