All summer long, music fills the Agora

After a festive kickoff on June 24, the Mardis musicaux continue every Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Agora on rue de Bruxelles in Gatineau. This series of free outdoor concerts showcases talented artists in a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all.

Here's a look at the upcoming performances:

July 8 - The Wildwood Family
This all-female country-folk quintet, founded in Montreal in 2011, delivers rich vocal harmonies inspired by the great family traditions of the 1930s and '40s. With acoustic instrumentation and a vibrant presence, they bring a timeless sound to life.

July 15 - Nicole Ratté
A well-known jazz voice in the Ottawa-Gatineau region, Nicole Ratté revisits jazz standards with elegance and subtlety. Accompanied by top-tier musicians, she offers a refined, intimate evening.

July 22 - Pays d'abondance
The duo Pays d'abondance, made up of Isabelle Cyr and Yves Marchand, takes us on a heartfelt journey from Témiscamingue to the Maritimes through moving songs. Two voices, two cultures, one music to discover!

July 29 - Tribute to Les Cowboys Fringants
A festive evening paying homage to the beloved Quebec band. Expect powerful lyrics, driving rhythms, and a strong community spirit in this high-energy performance.

August 5 - Roxane Potvin
A seasoned singer and multi-instrumentalist, Roxane Potvin was the lead vocalist for Cirque du Soleil's O show in Las Vegas for 17 years. She brings a heartfelt interpretation of well-known francophone songs.
