Do you love classical music and to support a good cause?
The series "Les rencontres musicales du Plateau" continues its activities on May 28 with a concert where different musical styles will intertwine. Indeed, classical music will rub shoulders with folk and great melodies dear to music lovers.
On the program: a concerto for piccolo trumpet and piano by Vincenzo Bellini, works for solo piano and songs full of sensitivity by Marie Leblanc.
All proceeds from the concert will be donated to the "Back to School- Sharing Store" Plateau program. The program is currently in full registration campaign, May and early June 2023, for low-income families who need school supplies.
Sponsors will purchase additional school supplies for enrolled children.
The objective of the "Rencontres musicales du Plateau" is to allow the public to live an intimate experience with musicians and groups who present accessible and varied programs.
A small reception will follow the concert and it will be an opportunity to exchange with the invited artists.
