What is the Great cleanup?
Every spring for the past several years, hundreds of residents participate in the cleanup of streets, parks and bike paths to remove the garbage that accumulated over the winter.
How can you participate?
It's easy, just go to the registration page to see the areas to be cleaned and choose your own. You can sign up as a family, with friends or on your own. Cleaning kits will be distributed to registered volunteers.

- Red areas = available area, cleaning to do
- Green areas = already selected by volunteers.
- Black areas = commercial spaces, yet to be cleaned.

The cleaning of your zone can be arranged at your convenience during the two weeks of the Big cleanup.
The Big cleanup is organized by the Plateau Residents' Association in partnership with the City of Gatineau.
