Whether it's organizing festive events, beautifying our common spaces, or providing assistance to those in need, your commitment will make all the difference.
Volunteer opportunities

Explore the different ways you can get involved :

  • The Board of Directors plays a central role in the governance and strategic direction of the association.
    Comprising 14 elected members, it is responsible for making important decisions and overseeing activities.
    It ensures that the association remains true to its mission and objectives.
    The Board ensures cohesion and respect for APR's values, while guaranteeing transparency, coordination and good governance.
    Board members work closely with committees and volunteers to ensure that projects meet residents' needs and expectations.
    Their commitment is essential to the development and well-being of our neighborhood.
  • The Aid committee supports the neighborhood population by acting as a link with local organizations.
  • It coordinates essential activities to improve food security, housing security and literacy, as well as providing support for addiction problems.
  • It manages the Back to School program, which enables low-income families to purchase school supplies at a 25% discount.
  • It manages the Snow Suit program, which helps equip children for winter.
  • The committee regularly organizes blood drives to meet community needs.
  • Through these initiatives, the committee creates a strong support network for residents, responding to their needs and improving their quality of life.
  • Ensures that the Plateau's environment is maintained and improved.
  • It makes recommendations on environmental projects for the neighborhood.
  • The committee organizes awareness-raising activities such as the Plateau Big Cleanup, tree planting and greening.
  • It also takes care of the electronics and Styrofoam collection, the bicycle network, and the clothing exchange.
  • The committee plays an active role in public consultations and community partner activities related to the environment.
  • It contributes to the promotion of sustainable practices and the preservation of our living environment.
  • To ensure the smooth organization of each major event, an activity committee is created specifically for each event, under the supervision of the activity coordinator.
  • It coordinates the booking of equipment and services, creates the entertainment program and plans all logistics in close collaboration with the Ville de Gatineau's recreation department.
  • They play a crucial role in the success of the association's events and projects.
  • Their punctual participation strengthens the team during busy periods, notably during major events and others throughout the year.
  • They can be involved in various tasks, such as setting up, welcoming participants and organizing logistics.
  • Their flexibility and availability are greatly appreciated.
